The primary focus of our developmental camp is to have fun around the great game of tennis. Campers will focus on one particular skill a day and then incorporate that skill in a variety of drills and games. There will be a week-long ability level tournament that everyone can participate in. For the younger campers, the emphasis will be on learning the strokes, making solid contact and the rules of the game all while being constantly involved…no waiting in line! The older campers will involve themselves in more match play with an added emphasis on fitness and point strategy. There is something for every level!

Our High Performance program is also available to our older campers 5th grade and up! This will focus more on point play, match strategy and fitness. There is a fitness component every day (weight room, or cardio). Additionally, we complete digital chalk talks, where we analyze campers’ swings and use video work to break down structure.

Quotation

Excel's Tennis camp is fun for kids of all ages. Our children are repeat campers as they enjoy it so much. They learn new skills, play fun games, and come home eager to return the next day. The counselors are great and the camp is well-organized and well-run by EA teachers and coaches so we know they are in good hands while they are there. We highly recommend Excel tennis camp!

My son’s time at Excel tennis this summer was his very first experience with the game. He came home happy and with a sense of accomplishment each day – and excited to go back in the morning. He had such a positive experience that he asked me to sign him up for more sessions than we originally planned. Each morning when I would drop him off, the coaches’ enthusiasm to greet our kids was wonderful to see – and they loved being at camp each day. We definitely plan to send them back again next year. Thank you, Coach Whit and team!
